Student of The Week: Megan Martinez

March 30, 2011 / by admin / 1 Comment

This week, we would like for you to meet Megan Martinez! Megan takes ballet, jazz, acro, and tap each week. Megan has near-perfect attendance, and uses her time in class well by asking questions, working hard, and practicing until it is perfect! What impresses us most is the time she spends outside of class practicing. Often she will have a question about a step or the dance before class even starts! Congratulations Megan!
How old are you, what school do you go to?
10, Roswell North Elementary
When did you start dancing?
Did ballet at 4, then on and off for the next several years. Restarted last year with musical theater.
Favorite style of dance & Why?
Tap, because we learn cool things and it is challenging, and I like challenges!
What is your favorite part of dance class?
Everything we learn and how nice the teachers are.
What is the most difficult part of dance class?
Learning the recital dances
What else do you like to do besides dance?
Singing and acting
Why do you like dancing?
Because it is fun, and you get to become more active!
