Wow! What a performance! We are extremely proud of all of the dancers that put on such an amazing recital. This was Atlanta Dance Central's fifth recital, and it was definitely the best recital we have had so far. It is always a rewarding experience to watch our dancers get on stage, have fun, perform their hearts out, and reach their goals. All of the faculty members at ADC have truly enjoyed working with each and every one of our dancers, from ages 2 to 18.
It was our honor to announce our Dancer of the Year at recital! Every month, each of our faculty members nominates one student to be selected as the “Student of the Month.” All nominees for Student of the Month are eligible to be selected as our Dance of the Year! The 2014 Atlanta Dance Central Dancer of the Year is Michalina Florio!
Michalina started dancing at ADC this past fall, and we fell in love with her work ethic. She took six classes per week and was up for any challenge we threw at her. As the year progressed, we watched Michalina set goals for herself, push herself in class, apply corrections, and most importantly we watched her grow as a dancer. Michalina is a wonderful student who is always respectful to her teachers and welcoming to all of her classmates. She has been a great addition to our ADC family and we can't wait to continue to work with her in the future. As always, we interviewed Michalina so you could get to know her!
