Our dance year just started and we were happy to nominate and select our first student of the month this past week. Each month our teaching faculty sits down together and each faculty member nominates 1 person they feel has been working hard, has been trying their best, and has had a good attitude in class. Nominations all go into a hat and are picked at random! All nominees throughout the year will be eligible to be selected as ADC's Student of the Year in May.
We are happy to announce that Maren Finnegan is our first student of the month for the 13 -14 year! Maren is in our youth program and takes ballet and jazz. She works extremely hard in class, applies corrections quickly, and always approaches class with a positive attitude. This is her first year dancing at ADC, and we are excited to see her grow as a dancer!
How old are you? 13
What school do you go to? I am in 7th grade at High Meadows
When did you begin dancing? I started dancing when I was 5
What is your favorite style of dance? Jazz, because it is upbeat.
What do you do outside of dance? I like to cook, draw, act and play with my dogs.
