ART Company Choreography Camp!

/ by admin / Leave a Comment

a1-592For the past few weeks, Atlanta Rising Talent company members have been hard at work learning choreography for their upcoming season!

Guest choreographer Chris Coates is back with energy filled and entertaining hip hop and jazz choreography.  He and Ms.Charlotte have teamed up to choreograph a Beyonce themed jazz piece for the Senior Company, who are already channeling fierce energy in their jazz heels.  Chris's choreography for hip hop is always exciting, and we look forward to seeing what kind of plot twist he includes with this year's Junior Company.

ADC favorite Audrey Crabtree came back from L.A. to set some innovative new tap choreography on the Minis, Juniors, Teens, and Seniors.  They put their tap shoes hard to work to learn complicated choreography in a short amount of time.

Ms. Mary Ann is excited about both of her ballet productions this year.  The Junior, Teen, and Senior companies will be presenting a 20 minute excerpt of Don Quixote!  All of the students learned the Dulcinea, Queen of the Dryads, and Cupid solos during our Ballet Intensive.  Ms. Mary Ann can wait to get started setting the (once again) Petipa choreography on the dancers!  She even has the Micro-Mini and Mini Companies dancing a Spanish themed ballet dance complete with fans and tambourines.

The ART Gala may be eight months away, but we are already getting excited about all of the hard work our students are putting into learning their choreography for the season!
