You may not know this, but Atlanta Dance Central holds a Masterclass once a month during our enrollment season! A masterclass is a specialty class taught by either an ADC faculty member, or a guest teacher. They are an hour and a half long and they are a great way to get some extra practice in a technique, or even to try a class that isn't regularly offered by your dance studio.
Last season we had masterclasses in Contemporary, Afro-Caribbean, Rockette Jazz, MELT Method, Contemporary Jazz, Tap Improvisation, and a Summer Program Audition Prep! Our first masterclass of the season is this Saturday, September 6 from 12 – 1 p.m. The class is a Contemporary class with guest instructor Bryn Chafin!
We will be continuing our monthly masterclass series throughout the season,and look forward to bringing new and exciting styles and information to our students. Masterclasses are open to any intermediate or advanced dance student ages 10-18 in the Atlanta area, and you do not have to be a current student of Atlanta Dance Central to attend the masterclass!
