It may only be the second week of classes, but Atlanta Dance Central is in full swing this week! On Wednesday we're having our spirit night at Chicken Salad Chick in Roswell, and 10% of the proceeds will benefit the Foster-Schmidt Dance Academy. On Saturday, the Atlanta Rising Talent company will kick off their season with performances at the St. Peter Chanel Fall Festival!
We are bringing the entire company out for this performance, debuting new groups of Micro Minis, Minis, Juniors, Teens, and Seniors – almost 60 dancers! The companies will be performing a variety of styles including jazz, hip hop, contemporary, and their musical theater production of “Wicked!” They'll also be leading and encouraging the audience to dance with them to some popular songs. The high energy jazz and hip hop dances are sure to be a hit, and we can't wait to give the Roswell a sneak peek of the ART Company's upcoming season.
The St. Peter Chanel Fall Festival will be held in the Queen of Angels parking lot and on the fields on September 19 beginning at 5:30 p.m. In addition to the ART Company performing, this festival is going to be an entertaining time for the whole family. They'll have a rock climbing wall, a football toss, and even a dunk tank! There will be a bounce house, face painting, photo booth, along with tons of games and contests. Food trucks from the Olde Blind Dog, Kona Ice, and a Funnel Cake truck will be there, along with hamburgers, hot dogs, and a cake walk. The St. Peter Chanel fall festival has everything you could imagine and more to entertain the entire family. It truly sounds like the place to be in Roswell this Saturday night.
You really don't want to miss the St. Peter Chanel Fall Festival on Saturday, September 19. We can't wait to share all of our new choreography with you!
