We had a great summer here at Atlanta Dance Central! Our summer was kicked off with a “Frozen in Summer” party, complete with dancing, crafts, and a ton of singing. Guest teachers joined us for our Summer Intensive, where students worked hard and took classes in ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, acro, and more! It was a great week and we saw a huge improvement in our students in just a small amount of time. We continued dancing through summer with a variety of camps and drop in classes. It was great to see students in the studio, learning, laughing, and falling in love with dance. Even though we love summer, we can't wait to get back into the routine of our 2014 – 2015 season.
This season is sure to be the most exciting and busiest season yet. We can hardly believe that ADC is turning 5 this October! Some of our students have been here since our very first year, and we can't wait to meet the students that will walk through doors for the very first time this fall. Even though we just start back in September, we have a lot of events that are going to come up quickly! Our first day of classes is Tuesday, September 2, which is the day after Labor Day.
- About a month into classes on October 13 – 18 we have Bring A Friend Week. This is the week you can bring any friend into class to dance for free!
- October 19 is the DSAA Buddy Walk, and the Foster-Schmidt dancers will be performing downtown during this event!
- October 26 is Frankenstein's Frolic Haunted Carnival at ADC. Join dancers of SIDEWAYS, the Foster-Schmidt Dance Company, and the ART Company for a performance, and fun games and treats!
- In November we are having unlimited classes for all of our students. You can drop in to any class you have been dying to try!
- November 21 – 23 is Once Upon A Holiday. SIDEWAYS Contemporary Dance Company will perform it's annual holiday show here in Roswell at Blessed Trinity High School. Students of Atlanta Dance Central will also be performing in this show!
As you can see we have a lot going on, and that doesn't even cover half of our upcoming season! Make sure you follow our blog posts and follow us on facebook, twitter, instagram (atlantadancecentral), and even pinterest! We are looking forward to starting class next week!
