What is a Recital Packet Meeting?

It’s that time of year again! Next week at ADC in the last 20 minutes of each class our teachers will be inviting parents in to talk through our Recital Packet. You may be wondering why we do this, or even what a recital packet is, and this post is here to help!

What is a Recital Packet anyway?

The Recital Packet is a booklet of information containing everything you could possibly need to know about the recital. This includes dates and times for tech and dress rehearsals, costume and hair style details, and a good idea of what to expect at the show.

Why a whole meeting?

We want to make sure that we are able to explain everything that is included, as well as answer any questions you might have. We also go through the packet page by page and have you underline all of the information that pertains to your dancer. Since there is so much in the packet, we want to make sure you know where to look.

What if I lose my packet?

Never fear Teamapp is here! We will be uploading the whole thing to our Teamapp so you can have access to the recital packet on your phone or tablet whenever you need it.

Do I need to attend the meeting for each one of my dancer’s classes?

Yes! If you can be there for each class your dancer is a part of, please attend. We will be reviewing the specific costume checklist for each class only during that class time.  Please bring your recital packet to each class as well.

What if there is no possible way for me to be there?

If you cannot be there for one reason or another, reach out to us! We will be more than happy to share the information with you at the front desk.

We know that getting all of this at once can be overwhelming but keep calm and recital on!

We want to make sure you and your dancer are feeling confident, excited, and ready to take on our big show!
